XFINIUM.PDF 4.0 has been released a few days ago and it brings support for a very requested feature: support for Portable Class Libraries. The XFINIUM.PDF product is now available also as a Portable Class Library in the form of Xfinium.Pdf.Pcl.dll assembly. This new assembly supports .NET Framework 4.0 or higher, Silverlight 5, Windows Phone 8 and Windows Store applications. Our tests show that the assembly also works without problems on the Xamarin platform.
The XFINIUM.PDF Portable Class Library is part of the CROSS PLATFORM Bundle. Existing customers of any edition of XFINIUM.PDF can upgrade to CROSS PLATFORM Bundle by paying only the difference. The v4.0 upgrade is free for all customers with an active support subscription.

Hi,
Please let me know The XFINIUM.PDF 6.5.0 Cross Platform Standard Edition will work with Xamarin Forms Project. As per your previous comments “XFINIUM.PDF Portable Class Library v6.7 works with Xamarin Forms”.
I am trying with the Version 6.5.
Thanks
The XFINIUM.PDF Portable Class Library v6.5 does not work with Xamarin Forms, only v6.7 works. You have to use the XFINIUM.PDF 6.7 if you want Portable Class Library support in Xamarin Forms.
Hello,
I would like to render a PDF document to the end user and annotate it for a cross platform Xamarin.Forms solution. Does your library support this and is there any example code?
Thanks
This feature is under development and it will be available later this year.
How do you set the license information when you’ve downloaded package from nuget and installed
After the purchase of XFINIUM.PDF CROSS PLATFORM Standard Edition (which includes the XFINIUM.PDF PCL assembly) we provide an updated nuget package that includes the commercial version of the library.
Hi,
After updating Xfinium to 7.1 version in my xamarin forms project one line is coming automatically i.e. ‘created by Xifinum’.
Can you please provide me any solution.
Thanks!
Your application is using the evaluation version. If you have a valid license, please use the XFINIUM.PDF assemblies from the commercial install kit.
